We've collected the questions that come up in almost every consultation. The answers are short, with links to each guide for details.

① Electricity

"How much will it cost per month?"

Answer
How much does it cost to run?
Calculated as average power × operating hours. An outdoor 6m×3m (18㎡) screen draws about 4kW in operation; at 16 hours a day that's about 1,900kWh per month. Rates vary by your electricity contract type. → Dedicated power and distribution boards
Why are maximum and average power different?
Maximum is the moment of a full-white screen at full brightness; average is typical video (35–40% of maximum). Size breakers and circuits for maximum, and estimate the bill from average
How can I lower the electricity bill?
Automatic night dimming + operating-hour schedules + dark-background content. Running at 60–70% brightness is also good for lifespan

② Lifespan · picture quality

"How many years will it last?"

Answer
How long does an LED display last?
Manufacturers rate LED life at about 100,000 hours (15+ years at 16 hours a day), but running 24 hours at 100% brightness shortens it by tens of percent. Consumables such as power supplies and fans are replaced every 3–5 years
Does it get dimmer over time?
Brightness drops gradually (lumen depreciation). We design with brightness headroom and restore uniformity with regular calibration
If one module fails, do I have to replace the whole screen?
No. We replace only that module and recalibrate. Keeping 5% spare modules from the same batch (lot) avoids color differences

③ After-sales service · maintenance

"What happens if it breaks?"

Answer
What's the warranty period?
It depends on the contract, usually 1–2 years. Defective parts are covered free of charge; damage from dust, moisture, overvoltage and other upkeep issues is often not covered
How do I report a fault?
Take a photo and call 053-625-9199 or use the contact form. With remote monitoring, we may even know before you do
What does a maintenance contract include?
Regular inspections (4 times a year) + remote monitoring + emergency call-outs + spare parts. → First-year inspections after installation
Is it OK in the rain?
Outdoor modules are designed to be waterproof with IP65 on the front. Joint sealant and cable entry points are still items for regular inspection

④ Permits · installation

"Do I need a permit?"

Answer
Do outdoor LED displays need a permit?
Yes. Digital advertising displays with changing images require a permit under Korea's Outdoor Advertisements Act, and size and location rules vary by local ordinance. → Outdoor advertising permit and notification process
How long does installation take?
1–2 weeks to finalize specs after the site survey, 2–4 weeks to fabricate the structure, and a few days to 2 weeks on site. Permit time is separate. Sculptural installations take longer
Do you replace existing displays too?
Yes. We assess during the site survey whether the existing structure and power can be reused; sometimes only the controller is replaced
